Hold on to your dreams. Hold on to your dreams. Pretty sure that's the advice two or three days before the new moon. Or maybe that's for the full moon? I don't remember. But either way, that's what I heard in my head, in my heart, in my soul this morning; this is what came through with each deep breath and tear shed: Hold on to your dreams. Hold on to your dreams. Nothing right now is as bad as it seems. Don't throw in the towel. Don't give up. Failures, mistakes, detours, and let downs-- don't let them keep you down. Things taking longer than you want? Just breathe. And keep praying while moving those feet. Some days are hard for no apparent reason-- or could be astrological, hormonal, or for some apparent reason. Either way, whatever the reason, it's ok. And it will pass. Don't let fears and doubts take control. Feel them and hear them if they're there, but then shake them off. See them for what they are. Feel sad if you feel sad. Feel pissed off if you feel pissed off. Cry, sob, yell in your car, punch a pillow, throw a tantrum if you need to. Let it move through you. Keep your eye on the prize. See the forest through the trees. Hold on to your dreams. Don't give up. |
